The Emigrant Disco Print Store
The Emigrant Disco is an annual event that came about through the already much discussed exodus of creative talent from our shores following the economic crash. Whilst we’re told we’re on the road to recovery & the mass exodus has slowed to a trickle, the thousands returning in December still provides a platform for collaboration & celebration.
As part of this year’s event, The Emigrant Disco & Hen’s Teeth Prints have teamed up to create 'The Emigrant Print Store', featuring work from some of our favourite artists living both at home & abroad. The store features work from Karl Toomey (INT Works), Al Kennington, Steve McCarthy, James Kelleher (Pilcrow), Gianni Clifford (Dolce Merda), James Cullen, Niall Sweeney (Pony), Eoin Stanley, Ronan Kelly & Jon Averill.
The first set of prints goes live Thursday 3rd December at 1pm with a selection of the prints hanging in Grogan's pub in Dublin for a couple of weeks before Christmas.
James Kelleher is the creative director of Pilcrow, an independent publishing and design studio based in Dublin. He specialises in editorial design and app development, with occasional diversions into photography and delivering scorching hot takes to the internet.
