Serendipity Sessions

Serendipity Sessions is a new event series which will see multiple artists come together, to put on special shows for smaller audiences. Through different genres, setups and venues, Serendipity Sessions will give both the crowd and the artists the opportunity to do something different and experience music on a more intimate level. Think somewhere between Tiny Desk and So Far Sounds, with stories, moments of vulnerability and above all, beautiful music.

Organiser Bekah Molony saw an opportunity to programme something for those looking for a more wholesome, laid back and affordable experience, without missing out on great hospitality and quality music. The August 20th (Hen's Teeth, Dublin) event will have their bar and kitchen open as usual, so guests can stay fed and hydrated in between performances. Guests will be asked to sit wherever they like for the performances (which may include on the ground and so are encouraged to bring something comfortable).

LINEUP: August 20th, Hen's Teeth, Dublin

Swedish artist Aasma, the Red Bull Music Academy alumni who is inspired by nature, mysticism and Enya (!) will be coming to Ireland to showcase her breathtaking indie-folk album 'Campfire' through music, storytelling and togetherness. Katie Phelan, who has been captivating audiences at festivals this summer from Sea Sessions to Indiependence, will bring her dreamy, acoustic vibes to Hen's Teeth. Finally, fresh after playing All Together Now to an enchanted crowd, Salamay will deliver a stripped back, introspective set of spoken word and rap for Serendipity Sessions. We are also excited to welcome Uly - an artist who is deeply influenced by pop, soul, jazz, nostalgic production value and in addition to his own releases (which have amassed millions of streams online), Uly boasts an ever growing collaborative discography (see: Kojaque, Kynsy, Nealo, to name a few).
