Single origin Dominican Republic 68% dark chocolate with taste notes of salted caramel and roasted hazelnuts.
The beautiful Maldon salt is ground smooth within the chocolate for 24 hours and acts as a flavour indicator to bring out the natural sweetness from the cacao. The salt creates the perfect balance of sweet and savoury – making it incredibly complex and moreish.
Bare Bones Chocolate is a micro-batch, bean to bar chocolate company based in Glasgow created by Cameron and Lara. As chocolate and speciality food enthusiasts, they wanted to create their own brand that was built on incredible chocolate with impeccable detail through every process. They make thier chocolate in their workshop in the South Side of Glasgow in micro-batches of around 30kg at a time. They roast our cacao on a modified Giesen coffee roaster and have engineered some of thier equipment from scratch, to get the best possible quality for their batch sizes.
