'Standing Still' by Olin Branigan

A lifelong fascination with the Neolithic monuments of Ireland, set photographer Olin Brannigan brings the studio on location to show the majesty of our shared heritage. They represent the beginning of us, the beginning of architecture, the beginning of civilisation.Photographing alone, at night and treating each monument as a sculpture isolated from their pastoral surroundings. It highlights the grandeur and majesty of these important sites. Each image represents several attempts and the process became a labour of love and in itself became as important to the photographer as the final image.

The show runs at our Studio on Mill Street, Dublin 8 from 6th - 9th October. Prints from the show will be available to buy at the gallery only from 6:30pm on October 6th.
