August Monthly Market

Our monthly markets are back on the first weekend of every month, and we’re kicking things off this August with a serious line up of cuties offering up their best bits & bobs.

Hen’s Teeth in partnership with Square is launching a new series of monthly markets across its two venues in Dublin 8. Kicking off on the first weekend of August, the markets will host more than 20 traders every month featuring some of Ireland’s most exciting, emerging contemporary homeware, lifestyle & fashion creatives & entrepreneurs.

Featured traders for the first edition include Emporium, Dublin based streetwear brand; Execute Exist, independent clothing brand & print studio; Chubby Cherub, the letterpress stationery brand; Coy Vintage, handpicked and sustainable clothing; Carmen Quigley pottery & plants; Meraki and Sun jewelry; and lots more to be announced.

“We’re buzzed to bring a bit of that Newmarket Flea energy back to Dublin 8 with some of our favourite emerging Irish brands. Alongside the market stalls there will be food & drinks pop-ups, a BBQ and live music and art events for the whole fam. With big thanks to our neighbours and payment provider Square for helping to make this series happen.” Greg Spring, creative director & curator, Hen’s Teeth

“We are delighted to be partnering with Hen's Teeth to showcase some of Ireland's best businesses, brands, music and more. Economic empowerment of business owners of all sizes is at the heart of everything Square does, and it starts with local neighbourhoods. It's fantastic to see new initiatives like this amongst the business community here in Dublin.”

Arnold Park Studios

Andy Beller founded Arnold Park Studios in 2016 as a much needed creative outlet after over a decade spent working in the fast-fashion industry. The APS brand slogan is "Clothing to Fill the Void in Your Soul and Mine", which is at the same time an impossible promise, and my genuine mission with Arnold Park Studios.

He plays with faceless corporate logos/imagery, generic-looking clip art, and other discarded artifacts of late-stage capitalism in order to try and draw some kind of beauty out of the banal visual landscape we all live in.

Ashwin Chacko

Ashwin is a positively playful connector bringing people together through positive storytelling with Illustration & Design based in Dublin, Ireland. He is on a mission to champion creativity to shape culture through:

Hey, Bull Dog Design

Amanda & Joe believe in creating colourful products that really make you look at them and that simply make you happy having them in your home. Life’s too short to surround yourself with dull, drab homewares!

They play with materials and colour and from this process create beautiful homewares. Their love of transforming and our strong desire to be as sustainable and future-friendly as possible, has led us to working with materials like concrete, Eco Resin, metal and wood.

There are certain products they always have in our range but because of our playful making process our designs are constantly evolving. Each of their handmade products is unique with its own distinct patterns and natural imperfections.

Their designs are handmade by them in Dublin.

As a streetwear brand, ELN doesn’t want to follow the trends, instead we’re breaking the moulds. Streetwear is more than just clothes - it’s a lifestyle, an energy and a personality. This is quality streetwear that you can keep forever. Who cares if prints fade a little, they always look good.Throughout history, workwear, combat wear and sportswear have been worn together to create unique streetwear looks. She thinks this idea of showing your personality through fashion is cool, so she created a clothing brand based on that raw creativity.
