Way Bad & Friends: A Night of Risograph Printed Goodness

We're delighted to host an exhibition with Way Bad Press & Friends on Thursday, 30th May. Way Bad is a new and exciting venture in risograph printing by artists Izzy Rose Grange and Conor Nolan.

Started earlier this year, Way Bad Press are introducing themselves to the creative community with a one-night showcase of risograph printed artworks by some top creatives both from Ireland and abroad. With this event Way Bad aims to showcase beautiful work that embraces the risograph process and explores its different forms, with risograph animations, zines, and limited edition prints on show.

Artists Izzy Rose Grange and Conor Nolan have together amassed a wealth of knowledge of risograph printing through years of experience at the recently closed Damn Fine Print.

With the closure of what was Dublin’s premiere spot for all things screen printing and risograph, Izzy and Conor took on the task of rehoming the Riso and dragging it piece by piece up three flights of stairs to a new joint studio where they have already begun producing prints and zines for artists. In this new collaboration they are striving for high quality printing, experimental processes, facilities for zine distribution and a willingness to empower people to make better work through access to information and facilities.

Way Bad’s ethos is focussed on the indulgence and play that is inherent in risograph printing, with imperfections, textures, distinct colours and bold appearance at the forefront. Let’s goooooooooo.
